Nano-sized photocatalyst
A photocatalyst is a "environmental purification material" that generates strong active oxygen known as oxidation radicals on its surface when exposed to ultraviolet rays from sunlight or fluorescent lights. ■ Long-lasting effects without degrading the substrate By coating the surface of micro-sized microcapsules with nano-sized photocatalyst (titanium dioxide), harmful chemicals and viruses attached to the surface are decomposed and removed when exposed to ultraviolet rays from sunlight.
